Church is taking allot of my time 10 Months, 1 Week ago
I love youth ministry but at times things seem to get a bit tough. Its camps, and holiday clubs, weekly programs, monthly programs, plus I do some preaching and allot of church stuff that does not relate to youth ministry.

At the end of the week I feel like I need another week just to recuperate. I have even become negative about the church at times? I have tried talking to my pastor about it and it just does not seem to sink in. How does one get off a flying train like this?

I love the church but this is taking it’s toll.

Have you spoken to your leadership about this?

You need to be careful, It's easy to burn out. I don't know if your married or not, but I would take that into consideration.

To many youth pastors spend their lives serving the church and never serving their family.

The bible is clear about how we are to hold leaders accountable. A good leaders has his house in order.

I don't mean to be harsh just speaking out of experience!

Will be praying for you
